Dr. Beattie and his wife, Debbie, welcomed a new member of their family, Jacqueline Carolann Beattie, born July 7, 2005.

Ground broken on the new office building in Baldwin Park. The expected date to open was end of 2005.

Dr. Beattie and Dr. Mendez attended seminars at the annual session of the America Association of Orthodontists and spent time with the leaders in the field of orthodontics.

Winter Park/University office is closed down because landlord (Full Sail School) terminates lease.

Dr. Beattie attends the annual meeting of Florida Association of Orthodontists. He enjoyed dinner with Dr. Hans Pancherz, credited with the revitalizing and researching the Herbst appliance.

Both doctors and the staff attended seminars at the annual meeting of the Southern Association of Orthodontists in New Orleans.
Dr. Beattie participated as a Day Chairman on Local Arrangements Committee for the Annual Session of American Dental Association meeting held in Orlando (30,000+ attendees). Dr Mendez introduced speakers, and staff members participate as room monitors.

Dr. Beattie becomes President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

Dr. Beattie was named Editor of Newsletters of Florida Section of American College of Dentists, an honorary organization that consists of the top 3.5% dentists.
Dr. Beattie, Dr. Mendez and the entire staff attended the annual session of the American Association of Orthodontists held at the Orlando Convention Center. Over 20,000 orthodontists, family members and team members were in attendance.

John Robert Beattie, Jr. was born to proud parents, Dr. John and Debbie Beattie. He weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz.

Our new Kissimmee office was opened for business! We had operated out of Dr. Chuck Robbins' office in Kissimmee for 12 years. We owe a lot to Dr. Robbins. He helped us become re-established in Kissimmee. But our practice had grown, and we needed more space and more availability for our patients. We were thrilled to be able to offer appointments in this brand new, totally modern facility.

Dr. John was installed as President-elect of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando. He served as Secretary for the Dental Society last year.
Dr. Jack Beattie was nominated and selected for Fellowship in the American College of Dentists. The American College is an honorary dental society that is made up of the top 3.5% of dentists.

Dr. John was invited to participate as a delegate to the Healthy Florida Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to study and analyze America's health care delivery system and identify structural changes that will offer long-term solutions needed to assure quality, affordability and accessibility to health care for Floridians and for all Americans.
Dr. Maria gave a presentation on orthodontics to the Pan American Dental Society.
Dr. John Beattie was invited to help teach ethics to third and fourth year students at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in conjunction with the American College of Dentists. He was also offered an honorary faculty appointment to UF College of Dentistry.
Dr. John gave a presentation on orthodontics to the dental hygiene students at Valencia Community College.
Dr. Maria passed the case review portion of American Board of Orthodontics certification process.

Dr. John Beattie was inducted into American College of Dentists. The American College is an honorary dental society that is made up of the top 3.5% of all dentists.
Dr. John competed in his first swim meet since college. He won first place in his age group (40-45 years) in the 50 meter butterfly (third among all ages), and he won third place in his age group in the 50 meter freestyle.
