Courtney was the August winner for the pizza and limo party.  The limo picked her and her friends up at school.  The pizza party was at Anthony’s in Thornton Park.  The girls had a blast!  Be sure to refer your friends and family and get entered for the next drawing.

Dr Beattie and Dr Mendez attend seminars at Annual Session of America Association of Orthodontists and  spend time with the leaders in the field of orthodontics.

Winter Park/University office is closed down because landlord (Full Sail School) terminates lease.

Dr Beattie attends annual meeting of Florida Association of Orthodontists – enjoys dinner with Dr. Hans Pancherz, credited with the re-vitalizing and researching the Herbst appliance.

Both doctors and the staff attend seminars at the Annual Meeting of the Southern Association of Orthodontists in New Orleans.

Dr Beattie participates as Day Chairman on Local Arrangements Committee for Annual Session of American Dental Association meeting held in Orlando (30,000+ attendees).  Dr Mendez introduces speakers and staff members participate as room monitors.

Dr Beattie becomes the president of Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

Dr Beattie was named editor of newsletter of Florida Section of American College of Dentists, an honorary organization that consists of the top 3.5% dentists.

Dr Beattie and Dr Mendez and the entire staff attended the annual session of the American Association of Orthodontists held this year at the Orlando Convention Center . Over 20,000 orthodontists, family members and team members were in attendance.

Dr Beattie names reviewer for scientific papers for Newsletter of Southern Association of Orthodontics.

September 26, 2003. John Robert Beattie, Jr, born to proud parents, Dr. John and Debbie Beattie. Seven lbs, 2 oz.

June 2003. Our new Kissimmee office is open for business! We have operated out of Dr. Chuck Robbins' office in Kissimmee for twelve years now. We owe a lot to Dr. Robbins-he helped us to become re-established in Kissimmee. But now our practice has grown and we need more space and more availability for our patients. We're thrilled to be able to offer appointments in this brand new totally modern facility.

May 2003. Dr. John was installed as President-elect of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando. He served as secretary for the Dental Society last year.

May 2003. Dr Jack Beattie was nominated and selected for Fellowship in the American College of Dentists. The American College is an honorary dental society that is made up of the top 3 ½ percent of dentists.

February 2003. Dr John was invited to participate as a delegate to the Healthy Florida Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to study and analyze America's health care delivery system and identify structural changes that will offer long-term solutions needed to assure quality, affordability and accessibility to health care for Floridians and for all Americans.

February 2003. Dr. Maria gave a presentation on orthodontics to the Pan American Dental Society.

February 2003. Dr. John Beattie was invited to help teach ethics to third and forth year students at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in conjunction with the American College of Dentists. He was also offered an honorary faculty appointment to UF College of Dentistry.

February 2003. Dr. John gave a presentation on orthodontics to the dental hygiene students at Valencia Community College.

February 2003. Dr. Maria passed the case review portion of American Board of Orthodontics certification process.

October 2002. Dr. John Beattie was inducted into American College of Dentists. The American College is an honorary dental society that is made up of the top 3 ½ percent of all dentists.

October 2002. Dr. John competed in his first swim meet since college. He won first place in his age group (40-45 years) in the 50 meter butterfly (third among all ages) and he won third place in his age group in the 50 meter freestyle.
